Resisting the Rebel by Lisa Brown Roberts

December 1, 2016

I LOVED Caleb. Probably more than I should have considering he's sometimes an actual asshole. But who doesn't love a good hearted all American bad boy!

What I loved the most about this book was the rise and fall of the story. At no time could I just assume what was going to happen next because plot while remaining consistent threw a few curve balls. The Gus villain aka Octo-Gus (best nickname ever.) was put together very well. My only complaint was that the boy needed to be reported.

Mandy is super loveable and I seriously enjoyed that her character was so colorful. She's a strong hero who didn't let her ADHD control or define her and that's so telling. I loved it! Even Mr Spriggs, because sometimes teachers can be bad guys. It was realistic and great to see how much her character grew at the end of the story.

Caleb through. He's one of my favorite literally boyfriends. Case closed! Caleb is on the same shelf with Wesley from The Duff, Becks from Adorable, and Levi from Fangirl! I just love these boys. That bad ass but good guy personality. Their individuals, completely not afraid to be themselves.
